Project
HART – Hillsbourough, FL
Marketing work for Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) in Tampa encompassed a range of services designed to promote transit ridership and ensure regulatory compliance. Marketing and advertising campaigns were developed and managed to increase awareness of HART’s services throughout the Tampa/Hillsborough area, complemented by branding services that strengthened the agency’s identity and market presence. Market research played a crucial role, with consumer studies and focus groups conducted with HART riders to gain deeper insights into customer needs, preferences, and service satisfaction levels. The original website for HART was also created, establishing the agency’s digital presence and providing riders with convenient online access to schedules, routes, and service information.
Beyond traditional marketing services, specialized transit compliance work was provided to ensure HART met federal requirements. Title VI and Fare and Service Equity Analyses were developed to demonstrate compliance with civil rights regulations and to ensure that service changes and fare policies were equitably distributed across all populations, with particular attention to minority and low-income communities. This technical expertise in regulatory compliance complemented the marketing work, providing HART with a full-service approach that addressed both promotional needs and the critical federal requirements that all transit agencies receiving federal funding must meet.
